STPlayer helps to study foreign languages by watching movies with subtitles.
- Translates the select word or phrase.
Translation is powered by Yandex.Translate (supports more than 70 languages).
Internet connection is required for translation.
- Supports of DLNA protocol for playing movies from local network devices – you can watch movies without copying them to your device.
- Saving history (chosen subtitles and audio tracks, playback position).
- Supports both embedded and external subtitles.
Permissions:
- Reading from SD card: in order to play movies from device itself.
- Internet access: in order to translate subtitles.
- Access network state: in order to automatically search for DLNA devices after connecting to local network.
- Prevent from sleeping: in order to prevent going to sleeping mode when watching video.
